Description
This is crocheted with, I believe, a synthetic yarn, but I cannot be certain. My mother had this yarn stored for years (new yarn, old stock) to make a sweater and never used it. It is a very soft yarn and slightly fuzzy. The measurements are 9" from tip of the side rim to the top and about 20" opening. Very roomy for someone with a larger head or lots of hair!!
The hat is best hand washed and lay flat to dry. This hat would make a great little gift for someone or for yourself!
Background
I started crocheting for Blood Cancer United after my husband was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia on December 27, 2012. He is in remission now and doing well.
