I started crocheting for the Blood Cancer United (Leukemia and Lymphoma Society) after my husband was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia on December 27, 2012. He is in remission now and doing well.
I donate the yarn and supplies and the time it takes to crochet items to sell. Some of these items take weeks if not months to make. There is NO money taken out from the purchase price for this. I just love to crochet!
I also make other things and now and again pick up things to sell and raise money for Blood Cancer United.
Blood Cancer United works hard to find a cure to help so many people . . . . from small children to the elderly . . . . cancer knows no boundaries.
Please consider this for a gift for someone and help the cause.
Thank you for your support. If you don't find anything you would like to purchase, please consider donating directly to BloodCancerUnited.org. Every dollar helps!
